Meet the Founder
Jaci Chartier has spent more than fifteen years inside the education system, not observing it, but building it, fixing it, and advocating within it at every level. She has taught and led in public and charter schools across New Jersey and New York, including the New York City Department of Education, North Star Academy (Uncommon Schools), and KIPP Newark, in classrooms known for holding every scholar to a high bar.
She rose from classroom teacher to Assistant Principal of Special Education. Along the way she wrote hundreds of IEPs, led school-wide intervention teams, ran data-driven meetings, and delivered the professional development that raised the practice of the educators around her. She became a curriculum expert across Pre-K 4 through fifth grade and is trained in the self-regulation strategies that help scholars do their best work. She has sat across the table from families at some of the most consequential moments of their scholar's education. She knows exactly what schools can offer, and exactly where they fall short.

At the heart of all of it is a genuine love for scholars. Jaci believes every scholar deserves instruction that meets them where they are, builds on what they can do, and never stops reaching for what they are capable of becoming. Everything she designs is grounded in both rigorous data and real care.
Jaci holds New Jersey Standard Certifications in Special Education and Elementary Education and is certified in Orton-Gillingham, multisensory instruction, and CPI. She earned her B.S. in Elementary and Special Education from St. John's University, where she received the Excellence in Special Education Award and was honored as the keynote student speaker at her School of Education graduation. She built this practice for the families who deserve more than the system is designed to give.
