IEP Consultation
You have an IEP and you have questions. We will go through it together, what it says, what it means, what is working, and what you have the right to change.
Documentation & Written Notice Support
In special education, written notices are legal documents. They record decisions the school is making about your child and your response matters. Whether you have received a Prior Written Notice, a Notice of Meeting, a Consent to Evaluate, or anything else you do not fully understand, I will break it down, tell you what your rights are, and help you respond. You should never be left holding a document you cannot read alone.
IEP & 504 Review
Your scholar has a plan and something is not sitting right. We will review every goal, accommodation, and service together and identify what needs to be strengthened.
Eligibility & Evaluation Review
Your scholar has been evaluated or you are working toward an evaluation. I will help you understand the results, what they mean for eligibility, and what your next steps are.
Family Advocacy
You need someone who knows this system to stand beside you. Whether you are preparing for a meeting, trying to understand your rights, or knowing when to push back — I am here. I have sat at Child Study Team tables as a teacher, coordinator, and school leader. I know what schools are required to provide and I will make sure your family knows too.
Before your session you will receive an intake form to complete. Please share any relevant documentation with us to maximize our time.
All information is completely confidential.
After booking you will receive a confirmation email with your appointment details and an intake form to complete. Please share as much as you can about your scholar's current situation and upload any relevant documents like your child's IEP, 504 plan, evaluation reports, or school correspondence. The more context you share in advance, the more we can accomplish in our 60 minutes together.
We spend 60 focused minutes going through your situation together. Whether you are navigating an evaluation, trying to understand a document, preparing for a meeting, or advocating for a change in your child's services, we work through it systematically. You will ask your questions, I will give you honest answers, and together we will map out your options and your rights.
Within 24 hours you will receive a follow-up summary with the key points we covered, your recommended next steps, and any resources or language you can use when communicating with your child's school. You will leave this session knowing exactly where you stand and what to do next.
