The Cornerstone Assessment
Before we teach a single lesson, the Cornerstone maps exactly where your scholar stands in literacy and mathematics, skill by skill, against what the grade expects. It is evaluator-guided and one-on-one, not a worksheet or an online quiz. Instruction starts from that data on day one and is re-measured every quarter across the 4D Learning Cycle, so you watch the numbers move instead of hoping the report card agrees.
Designed Around Your Scholar
Everything instructional is designed around your scholar, and scheduling is designed around your family. Sessions flex to your calendar, virtual for families anywhere and in person in Hudson County. Homeschooling families use the plan as their daily blueprint. Families supplementing school use it to close the exact gaps that matter.
What Your Family Receives
Within five business days of the assessment you receive the complete Scholar Profile. It includes every measure across literacy and mathematics placed on our four-step growth scale for that grade, a written summary in plain language, and a recommended plan for the quarter ahead. You will know exactly where your scholar stands and exactly what we will do about it.
The Cornerstone Experience
There are no timers slammed on a desk and no test-day nerves. The Cornerstone is one-on-one and evaluator-guided, built to feel like focused play for younger scholars and purposeful work for older ones. We watch how your scholar thinks, not just what they answer, and the built-in stop rule ends any task the moment frustration outweighs information. Most scholars leave proud of what they showed us.
